Coming soon! This story follows a group of Engineers Without Borders volunteers who are working on a water-for-schools project in Khwisero, Kenya. They drill a well at a school called Shirali, hoping it will decrease the prevalence of waterborne diseases and allow girls to spend more time in class. But when the group returns a year later to check up on the project, they discover that the community isn’t drinking the water. Even more mysterious are the ruins of rusty, abandoned wells they find scattered across the landscape. How can they make this project a success and prevent it from becoming another “white elephant”? © 2012 Partnership Productions LLC, 30 minutes. Executive produced by Jaime Jacobsen, associate produced by Katie Baldwin, with original music by Lissette Norman. Listen to a sneak preview of the show here.
